A WEEK OF SMILES: HOW TO SHARE YOUR JOY OF GIVING AND JOY OF BEING IN BUSINESS
One of the best reasons for integrating giving in our everyday business is that by sharing the fortune we create through our businesses (no matter how small or big), we recognise how lucky we are to be doing what we do. And here at B1G1, our team also feels very fortunate that we get to work with so many great people who share the same desire to give.
Because of this, and to express our gratitude to all B1G1 Partners around the world, we started celebrating the Joy Of Giving Week as our annual event. We want everyone in the B1G1 Community to remember the truly fantastic things they are doing.
This year (June 22nd – 28th) we’re celebrating the 63 million smiles – 63 million giving impacts – that have been created during the last 8 years by these small-to-medium-size businesses we work with.
These millions of impacts created by B1G1’s Business and NGO Partners around the world are like little pixels in the great big picture – of joy, happiness and opportunities shared around the world.
Because of the giving you do in B1G1, so many people are receiving access to life-saving resources. So many disadvantaged children and women are receiving education and empowerment. And so many trees are being planted and wildlife being protected…
We wanted to connect these dots together in a truly unique way to celebrate the special week this year, by magnifying the real Power of Small.
So, please do share your smile here as you give to your favourite projects. And on the 22nd of June this year, you will find your smile among the beautiful collection of many other smiles in B1G1.
And we will also be inviting you to a range of special LIVE online events where you will hear directly from the B1G1 Worthy Causes (representatives from the NGO/Charity organisations that B1G1 works with will be there live) and connect with the stories they are creating.
This is the first ever event in B1G1 where you can really learn about the great work done by your chosen causes without even leaving your desk (although we’d love you to still consider coming on one of the special B1G1 Study Tours).
Of course, you’ll connect with other B1G1 Members and Partners too during these live web calls.
And we hope that the sense of connection we share can further enhance your joy of being in business. Each and every day, all around the rest of the year.
