A Year of Connection, Courage, and Collective Impact — Thank You for 2025

As we pause to reflect on 2025, one word keeps returning to us: gratitude.

Gratitude for you, our Members, for the countless moments this year where small, intentional actions quietly turned into something truly extraordinary. This has been a year where connection deepened, ideas travelled across borders and impact became increasingly visible, human-centric and uniting.

In the world where conflict, division and isolation seemed to loom, the space of unity, collaboration and shared giving spirit that the B1G1 Movement created mattered a lot. So many lives have been touched by the collective work of our Members, Partners and Worthy Causes.

At B1G1, we often talk about the Power of Small. The truth is, we simply cannot change the world alone. But together we can. And in 2025 we saw that power come alive again and again.

So let me take a moment to take you through some of the key highlights of 2025.

Recognizing Commitment: Champions of the Movement

This year also marked the advancement of the Impact Partner Program — a milestone that honours consistency, commitment, and long-term belief in creating a better world through business.

Today, we are proud to say that over 700 Members (and counting) are now recognized as Impact Partners — businesses that have chosen to make impact a habit, not a one-off act.

Each Impact Partner represents something powerful: trust in the long game and confidence that small steps, taken consistently, really do add up.

A Community That Shows Up for One Another

Throughout the year, we saw Members actively supporting one another — sharing ideas, opening doors, inviting teams and clients into their giving journeys and celebrating each other’s successes.

There are so many shared stories of how giving became a natural part of everyday business conversations:

• onboarding new team members sharing their commitment for positive impact,
• engaging clients through meaningful gestures,
• and using giving as a way to align values across organizations.

The growing use of our Engagement tools made this easier than ever, helping Members involve others in ways that are authentic, joyful and inclusive.

Coming Together in Bali (and Beyond)

One of the most memorable moments of the year was our Business for Good Conference in Bali. It wasn’t just an event — it was a gathering of hearts and minds. Business owners, leaders, partners, and friends came together not to compete, but to contribute.

The conversations were honest. The connections were genuine. And the shared intention was clear: business can — and should — be a force for good.Beyond Bali, regional events across different parts of the world created beautiful ripple effects. Members met each other in person, discovered unexpected collaborations, and formed friendships that went far beyond business cards and LinkedIn connections. These moments reminded us that impact is not just measured in numbers; it is also felt in belonging.

New Initiatives and Pathways for Growing Impact

In 2025, we also laid important foundations for the future:

• The introduction of Ambassador and Patrons initiatives, inviting deeper advocacy, leadership, and support for the movement.
• New and growing partnerships with networks that share our belief that doing good and doing well can go hand in hand.
• Continued improvements to our media kit and resources, making it easier for Members to tell their stories, track their impact, and share their ‘why with clarity and pride. (Haven’t seen these new resources and guides? Take a look here)

2025 saw a great increase in us seeing our Members’ posts on socials and seeing many Members integrate B1G1 messaging into their websites, events, team sessions and gifts for clients.

We also had the privilege of hosting International Women’s Day interviews, spotlighting inspiring Worthy Causes and the people behind them, as well as Conversations That Matter interviews featuring thoughtful global leaders who reminded us that leadership begins with care.

What We Created Together in 2025

While numbers never tell the whole story, they do offer a powerful glimpse into what’s possible when many people choose to act together. This year, Members helped create impact across a wonderfully diverse range of areas:

• 566,890 days of education provided
• 598,849 days of medical support
• 590,865 days of improved sanitation access
• 1,575,308 days of food provided
• 121,001 trees planted
• 3,956,911 m² of rainforest protected
• 121,314 days of shelter provided
• 6,179 micro-loans supporting livelihoods……

And so much more — all adding up to a Grand Total of 25,069,075 impact units created in 2025.

And they are not just large numbers. Each number represents real lives, real places, and real hope. Children displaced by war receiving warm clothes for winter protection in Ukraine, millions of people now receiving access to clean water, women being empowered to start their micro businesses so that they can fund their children’s education and uplift their communities.
