2020 HIGHLIGHTS: SMILES YOU’VE HELPED CREATE

As we countdown to the final hours of 2020, we want to say a big thank you to you as we celebrate making it through this extraordinary year together.

So first, let me share this special message to you from B1G1 Worthy Causes from around the world. Please go ahead and share this video with your team, your family members, you customers and your clients too.

Just a year ago, none of us came close to imagining that 2020 would turn out to be such a challenging year. Yet to our surprise and joy, the B1G1 community bounced back soon after the initial drop of giving in March and April. The giving in the final few months of this year actually exceeded that of last year. And that is simply AMAZING!

So, let me quickly highlight some of the important impacts created this year by the B1G1 community so far.

41,742 trees were planted

296,176 days of access to education were given

81,753 days of access to income-generating tools and training were given

5,503 kgs of food waste were saved

72,921 days of access to sanitation were provided

We also want to thank everyone who gave the special ‘Christmas Giving Bundles’. These Bundles were created to spread your giving to many different B1G1 Projects so that you can easily and simply benefit a mix of important projects.

Here’s a summary of the Christmas Gift Bundle impacts.

The B1G1 Community purchased 902 Christmas Bundles that created 167,333 impacts.

And these impacts include:

826 trees being planted

1,519 days of access to education being given

78,634 days of access to clean water

As you’d imagine, it has been a very challenging year for our Worthy Causes. And so this extra support from the bundles alone goes a long, long way to help them continue their important work. Together, we’ve overcome so many challenges. And together, we can do so much more.
